1988 civic has no spark
hi i have a 1988 civic hatchback that was given to my son and has been sitting for about 5 yrs. the car is really clean inside and out but cant get it started. there is no spark and no power going into the ecu. all the fuses are good the main relay is good, i replaced the dizzy with a remanufactured one with all new parts inside and still nothing. i replaced all the ground cables and the wireing looks good and not hacked up. any ideas? im not good at electrical problems. thanks
What about the 60 amp fuse under the hood that will make it as if there is no battery. Check all your grounds that could also be your issue
hi, i replaced the dizzy with one i bought on line. all the fuses under the hood are good, its not getting any power to the ecu. the book says once you turn on the key the led light on the ecu should light up and it doesnt. i pulled the hazard and ecu fuse out to reset the codes but the check engine light still stays on. i used a test light on the plugs to the ecu but but nothing lights up at all, its getting frustrating
