Default FS: 3mm Hub Spacer for 4x100 OEM ITR big brake conversion

I'm offering the following 4x100 'hub spacer' for people interested in staying 4x100 lug pattern but desire ITR sized 11" brakes.

With this hub spacer (and 4x100 redrilled Prelude VTEC rotors or ITR rotors), its a relatively cheap upgrade if you wanna stick with trusty OEM parts vs. going with an aftermarket BBK that doesn't compliment 15" sized wheels.

Note: These hub spacers are meant to be used with 90-01 integra or 99-00 Civic Si front knuckles and not base model civic knuckles which use the smaller 9.2" rotor.

Details for the unknowing.....

1. You need the following ingredients to fulfill a Poorman's 4x100 OEM ITR big brake conversion on your civic or integra:

- Front knuckles from: 90-01 Integra, 99-00 Si, or 92-00 civic that support ABS (ABS civic knuckles are basically integra knuckles). These knuckles are KEY in this conversion because the caliper bracket mounting points allows easy bolt-on installation of ITR/Prelude VTEC calipers, whereas regular civic knuckles do not at all.

- Calipers from: ITR, CTR, CRV, 93-01 Prelude VTEC, 95-00 Accord V6, 95-97 Accord Wagon, 97-99 CL V6 calipers (all the same spec). You can buy re-manufactured ones from Kragen, Vatozone, etc. (about $60ea w/core sometimes no core is needed).

- Rotors from: 93-01 Prelude VTEC 4x114 front rotors (either OEM or chinese made). Usually the choice rotor to use being that there's more spacing between pcd lug holes vs. a 5x114 ITR rotor. There's less of a chance to cross drill over the 5x114 holes when redrilling to 4x100 - this minimizes chances of cracking under hard braking/racing conditions.

- optional but not required - extended lug nuts

2. The problem w/using an ITR caliper on a 4x100 integra knuckle is that the caliper and rotor offset is misaligned (the rotor is not centered within the ITR caliper once everything is bolted in place). Reason-being, the ITR caliper bracket is too thick vs. a regular integra caliper, which pushes the caliper a few millimeters outwards allowing the rotor to rub on the inner side of the caliper. Most guys in the past would shave the caliper bracket down a few millimeters (BY HAND mind you) to fix this alignment issue. This hub spacer eliminates any shaving by hand and is way more PRECISE.

3. For those running Roll Center Adjusters (ie. extended lower ball joints) and desiring to go poorman ITR front brakes, these spacers actually help prevent the ITR/Prelude VTEC inner rotor face from making contact with the front lower control arm! I just found this out recently as I had a set of Buddy Club RCA's installed. Without the spacers and with this oem big brake upgrade + RCA's installed there WILL BE rotor-to-front LCA contact. The hub spacers created just enough clearance for the fr.LCA to not rub the inner rotor face!

4. Queue in the hub spacer!
The spacer shown above is placed BEHIND the rotor and is sandwiched against the face of the wheel hub which then corrects the offset issue by pushing the rotor outwards, centering it within the ITR/Prelude VTEC caliper.

Spoon offers the same kind of spacer to be used with their Spoon calipers for around $75 a pair. But who wants over priced JDM shiz anyways?
Buy American. lol.

I am selling these for $50 a pair shipped (cash/money order) or $55 shipped if by Paypal.

I am not offering rotor re-drilling for anyone wondering. Not at this time at least. Will update when this is available.

PM me up if you're interested in a set of hub spacers!

I wish I'd known about this sooner. I just had the same issue with the buddy club extended ball joints and the Prelude VTEC rotors. I already had the brackets milled though. My DIY fix was to grind 2mm of clearance on the lower control arm and that seems to have fixed it. I was very surprised to learn how far the rotors are deflecting under heavy loads. I may end up replacing my wheel bearings just to be safe. Bump for a worthwhile solution!

Do you still make these? Could you do a pair with the holes for the two Philips screws also?

YES still have these available, but adding the hole for the retaining screw is pointless because the redrilled prelude vtec rotor's retaining screw hole doesn't line up anyways. Trust me you'll be fine
