my car has been overheating a lot and i was just wondering if it is safe to run my ef without my thermostat?

 

You can in the summer, not the smartest thing to do though

 

ya i wanted to but im just gonna buy a new thermo

 

Running without a thermostat results in very high temps as the coolant never has time to sit in the radiator and properly cool. I had a failsafe thermostat (fails open) recently go bad and had the overflow boiling and steaming when I got it home.
