Default Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today i was fixing my interior. i was putting new light bulbs for the engine light and ect. i had a magnet next to me because when you take out the screws they fall into little spots. so when i was chnaging the bulb the magnet got stuck to some green plate (idk what its call) and it made my speed gauge spin all around to the back of zero then i put the magnet back and moved the pointer back in place. then put everything back. and test drived it and the speed gauge works fine. then i saw the gas gauge and it was passed F. i have a 97 accord lx v6 and i put gas 2 nights ago and i been driving for a while so no way its still full. is there way to fix this or do i need to buy a need gauge for 110$.. i need to know how much gas i have because i drive a lot and i dnt want to car to be stopping in the middle of the road cuz of no gas. THANKS IF YOU HELP ME OUT .. if your selling one cheap email me at iinvurt@aol.com thanks again

Get a new cluster? Or disassemble to gauge cluster and see why it's sticking.

Well lets see....

1.) Do what Nus said, Take it apart and use some ingenuity on it maybe you can figure out whats wrong with it.

2.) If that don't work buy a new cluster... Like Nus said.

3.) If your to cheap then just take the lowest amount of mpg you get and times that by the amount of gallons you can hold in the car, and set the trip-o-meter.
~Example... I get 25 mpg at the lowest and my car holds 17 gallons.... that equals 425, I set the trip meter and before I get to 425 miles I fill it back up...

I guess like nuss said, buy a whole new cluster or take apart your old one and see why it's sticking... the latter would be much cheaper. Not sure anyone is going to sell "just the part"
