No clutch adjustment left
About a month ago I was driving my civic when it started being very difficult to change gears. Then shortly after I had no clutch at all. I popped my hood and had about 2-3 inches of play on the release bearing lever which left me with no more threads to adjust the clutch cable. I pulled everything apart and found this..............

So considering I didn't know how long everything else would last, I bought a new clutch kit that replaced the pressure plate, clutch disc, release bearing, pilot bearing and also replaced the rear main as well just because I was already in there. I put everything in and I am still having the same problem with the 2-3 inches of play and no more threads to adjust my clutch cable. I even went so far as to replace the clutch cable and I still have the same problem.
Any ideas???

ok quick question. driving home today in my DA b20 and my clutch started to fail. pedal goes strait to floor and doesnt allow me to shift. since then ive been lookin for a slave cylinder and no luck. any clue what happened to mine?
Start your own thread... but you say "DA" so it should have a cable clutch...
still a "trial member" and thats what i was coming to the conclusion of with the cable and all. if the cable is fine then my next look is the clutch components? like the release bearing etc? again sorry for posting here
just in case anyone runs into the same problem it was an installation problem on my part. I just wasn't paying attention as well as I should have. make sure the "rods" that go into the slots on the side of the release bearing go in front of the shift fork and doesn't get caught on the sides of it
