Default IL (FS/FT/WTB) 1987 Honda Crx (CLEAN,FL CAR, PLUS CASH ON MY END)

NEW 7/9/2011 NEW

NEW PRICE NEED GONE
850.00

whats going down HT (PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FULL POST, EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW IS IN THERE )

so heres the deal, ive been living in florida for the past year and a half or so, and while i was down there, i came across this minty 87 rex. i purchased it of the 2nd owner, 1st owner was his uncle, and it had about 155,xxx on it, pretty much almost all original.

it ran pretty decent as a daily/grocery getter for about 3 months or so and then one day the fuel pump took a dump on me.

that is when i replaced the following parts

-fuel pump
-fuel filter

after i got it running again, it was about 4 days or so, and i was on my way to work and the water pump failed on me, which caused it to go off time, and i ended up riping the timing belt to shreds. so i got it towed to an airplane hangar where it was being stored (INSIDE, HEATED, COOLED, CLEAN, THE WORKS) and i poped the hood and just started going to town, replaced the following parts
-timing belt
-water pump
-cap and rotor
-plugs and wires
-timing tensioner

and i tried timing it, ethier i failed or i think it might have a spun bearing, or maybe a valve is hitting somewhere? but when you push it in gear it chirps every revolution it seems like, KEEP IN MIND THE ORIGINAL POS D16A3 is in there, they made 2 versions of this motor, the other one was CARBED hahaha so i recently moved back to illinois and i am in need of a GOOD DAILY

i was planning to swap this, because i have 3k or 4k or so for something, but one6 motorsports said its gonna be 2 weeks bare minimum before they are done, and i really dont have that kind of time

other than the motor possibly being shot this is one clean 87, the body is dingless, there are some minor scratches here and there, NO RUST ON QUARTERS OR UNDERNEATH

da gsr rims
other than that pretty much just stock, would make a great swap, hasport has a few different mount kits starting at like 400 or so

READ
only rust on the car, is some tiny tiny bubbles on the SUNROOF PANEL ITSELF, NOT THE BODYjust get a new one if it bothers you, super easy fix, and wont spread to the roof or body

interior is super clean, the only thing, there is a small dash crack about the size of my index finger, not deep or too wide, not that bad really, and the hood cable hangs a little, still pops though

I AM MOSTLY LOOKING TO TRADE WITH CASH ONTOP FROM ME, I HAVE UP TOO 4K OR SO TOO ADD ONTOP DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU HAVE

if i were too sell

ASKING PRICE (FLEXIBLE)
1500 how it sits

CAN GET MORE PICS TO SERIOUS PEOPLE

TEXTING IS THE BEST WAY TO GET AHOLD OF ME

224 241 5864

THANKS HT
