I have the Meziere dual outlet 55gpm tank mounted pump on my car. I'm not even going to talk flow rates because I'm sure to get beat up on this.

Flow rate depends on what core your using and how efficient it is.

Look into Rule Bilge pumps if you're looking to save some bucks. I have seen their 3700 GPH go for about $150. I would have to agree with tepid though, cooler efficiency plays a big part on how well it flows.

i used a Rule. it worked OK but not enough flow.

tepid is going to say GO BIG on the pump and i believe he is correct.

the more cold fluid you can flow through the core the better its going to work.

if you go Rule, get one BIGGER than this. liek 1000+gph

I do like the bigger pumps, but I run the dual outlet 55gpm because I have 2 1000hp Garrett cores to flow through. I run a single 55gpm pump that is radiator mounted for the engine, but that is not what we are talking about.

bilge pump here. make sure you use 1.5" lines or equivalent -20. you go smaller is wont work as it was intended.

Thanks for the responses, i never looked into the bilge pumps. Im using a single Garrett 1000hp core, i suppose that Rule 3700 should be fine. Thinking about mounting it in tank, bad idea?

it is a submersable pump with a built in screen. so there is no need to build a sceen for other pumps mentioned. it is by far the highest flowing for the money. waterman and mezire have great pumps but alot of fabrication to make them work. bilge pumps are submersible, move a **** load of water somewhere around 150+pgh. built in screen to not suck up ice and no install required, just drop it in the tank and done. not to mention prolly never needs servicing.

the other pump is not submersible so it will take up space.
