i have a 98 civic DX HB
motor is a B18C5
what is needed for complete install. i know i need the motor, trans,,,,,blah blah.
what mounts do i use? wiring harness ? there a way to use the stock harness and ad wires ? or not a good idea ? the B18c5 HAS the engine harness on it.
What ECU is the best? please gimme info , pics always help.

This isn't a "Use the search, jerk!" post. I have never done the swap, so I can't help. I do however use the seach function a lot. (Notice the low post count.) Try re-wording your querry. Try incorporating "harness" or "mounts" into the B18c5 search. Or try leaving the "5" out. The c5 swap is a lot rarer than the c1 from what I've seen. This is just some advice from a guy who doesn't normally say much. The NoOb slayers are always waiting to tell people to use the search function.(<-not saying your a nOoB) I'm just telling you what has worked for me.

 

You will get a lot of different answers. Here is my answer, use the stock civic harness and modify it. Use the jdm itr ecu or 97-98 usdm itr ecu.
