A month or so ago I noticed oil spots under my car so I took it to a auoshop and had them check it out and they said my rack and pinion was leaking. I asked my mechanic if he could check it out and he said it looked like my boots had been cut. So he changed my boots and the leaks stopped. I just looked under my car a minute ago and it looks like something is slowly leaking but not hitting the ground.........Now let's just say my rack and pinion is really messed up what are my options besides paying $900 to have it fixed and is driving with a bad rack and pinion bad? I'm also considering selling it to cut my losses or is this not that big of a deal?
