Hey HT guys and gals,
lately I've been noticing that my car leans to the left drivers side, even when I'm not in it, so what I do is just put more air into the tires but even after that, it still kinda looks the same to me. Also I feel there is more bounce when driving than before. I dont think its an alignment problem because it doesnt drive towards the left, rather it just looks like there is something heavy sitting on the hood of the drivers side, even when its just inside the garage. Any ideas what it might be? I measured the front corner heights and noticed the drivers was off by like 1 1/2". Thanks in advance guys/gals.

or replace all bushings, knuckles and control arms.

or buy a set of coilovers to adjust the height.

 

We need a little more info. Is the car lowered or stock height? Ever been in an accident? No offense but are you a "bigger" guy?

 

My bad I kinda forgot that part: its at stock height but idk if the shocks/struts (not sure which ones) are the stock ones or replacements from the previows owner, and the only possible acccident is a rear bumper crack but nothing on the front, and no offense taken I'm only about 200lbs, but even without me in it, the car still seems leaning to the drivers side

 

EVERYONE STFU! lol Your gas tank is more so on that side along with a few other things meaning the drivers side for LHD is heavier and sits lower unless you corner balance and have coilovers to adjust. Also the bounce is more than likely a blown strut also making it sit lower / thread, no need for any more explanations.

 

 

I don't remember them coming from the factory that way. Was the lean a Honda option?

Bad decision to over inflate the tire to compensate. Is your suspension original? Blown shock? Worn out bushings?

 

Don't be mad cause you didn't get the gangsta lean built into your car. Broke ***... must have gotten the base model **** without that option.

 

Could be bushings. Here's what my front bushings looked like after 15 years:



After replacing them, the car rides noticeably higher I could see them wearing unevenly if they were routinely parked on a slope or something, esp. near the end of their lives.

 

its not the weight of the car, engine or driver. its making harder right turns than left. right turns have shorter radii, and on ramps are almost always right hand turns. having only the driver MOST of the time, regardless of weight, im sure makes it worse too.

but it is NORMAL. its just a sign of an old car.
