Default Suspension problem

I currently am using ground control coilovers and tokico shocks. The front is bit lower than the front, and the ride is horrible. My car is lowered probably no more than a 1.75 drop, and it feels like i hit every little crack in the road, just bouncing up and down. I do have shitty no name tires,so maybe thats the problem, but lately I have been gettin a weird sound coming out of the front passenger side wheel, kind of a rattle when i hit bumps. Im thinking the coilover is rattling or something stupid. To make a long story short, Im considering just going to a shop and puttin my stock suspension back(any idea how much it would cost?)cause the ride is horrible and the rattle is making me think I really fucked up my suspension. Please help!

Get some better shocks. The drop and GC's are not the problem. Tokicos suck with stiff springs. Get either Bilstein HD or Koni Yellow. Those are the best affordable shocks that will work with what you have. Nuff said. Peace.

I agree that you should get better shocks than Tokicos. They seem to have been designed badly for stiff springs. Too much compression damping seems to be the problem. I've had the same problem with my car. I have Eibach Sportlines (1.60 front and rear) and Tokico shocks. The car reacts very violently to undulations in the road and seem to be sitting on the bumpstops. I've noticed a little clunk appearing in the passenger side, too. There's still a fair bit of suspension travel, though, so that can't be the problem. I'm switching to Konis as soon as I get the chance. The springs aren't the problem. Eibach makes some of the best and they are progressive. Stiff springs usually aren't a problem, anyway. Not unless you have the wrong shocks. I'm glad to see that I wasn't imagining things.
