BUT wait! i cant get the damn sensor thing off the back of the block next to the oil filter! am i supposed to pull or twist it off...it seems like a rubber grommet cuz thats all i can feel..i dont feel a nut [dont even think about it im serious!] or anything and ive already tried yankin at it but nada! TIA!!!!!
NOTE: this has been posted on the teg forum cuz im so friggin tired of trying to get this darn thing off!!!!!

There's a rubber cover that covers the sensor and covers the wire. Pull that off and pull the wire connector off. Then just get a deep socket and take it off. I don't remember the size, 21 or 23 mm, something around there.
You pull the black thing straight off(it's just a wire and rubber protector), then you unscrew the part that's screwed into the block.
From others here on HT i've heard that it is BAD to put the brass T on the block. Remote mounting it onto the firewall prevents breakage problems. Hrrms so you need a 1/8 bspt to 1/8 npt adapter too to get the guage hooked up cuz the threads are slightly different. On another 'thread' on HT someone suggested ditching the stock dummy light entirely, so you wouldnt need a brass T. I might try taking his advice.... as the stock dummy light is useless. Ecspecially when you have a oil pressure meter in your face.
Putting the brass tee on the back of your block sucks. Take it from me, I am on my 2nd one already. They break really easy. And I had to buy the damn thing in a set for 10 bucks each time.

im going to mount another nylon hose to the back of the block and mount the T closer to the fornt end of the motor and just route it to the **** pit but on another note sumone on the teg forum said it was giong to be hard to take out? and said to just take it to a mechanic...should i really? and what size socket will i need and do i just pull the plug out and attach it to the T or do i remove whatever else is in there? and do i need to drain the oil!?!? THANKS!!

Getting that black rubber boot off was the hardest part on my car. Everything else just came out without too much trouble.
