per warning, my spelling SUCKS.

okay, so im running a mini me swap.. d15b2 bottom end, and a d15b vtec top end. its obd1, and all that, and i JUST got it running perfectly.

well just today, it started sounding different, so i got on it, and it has no *****..

its sorta acting like vtec isnt working, or something..

so i checked the oil, and i was VERY low. so i filled it back up.. and the problem still occurred.

what i kinda think it COULD be a clogged cad, or residnador.. my exhaust system sucks, so its header to cad to res to fart can.. and alot of it is stock pipes. so its not loud at all...

i will test this and see if its the problem but if its not i will be back..

what other possibilitys could it be??

 

Are you throwing a check engine light?

Does it bog at only a certain RPM?

Check the timing to see if that is off also.

 

You would probably smell the cat going bad. Maybe fouled spark plug.
