Hey first time posting, i just recently discovered a slight ticking noise after i shift into 3-4th gear maybe 5th that their is a slight ticking noise and it sounds kind of like rattling a paper bag.. it ticks constantly and goes faster after i go past 40mph.. it was fine this morning til i got off work and now im not sure what it could be? i know it needs an oil change just havent had the time to do it yet .. could it be low on oil? or is it something bigger? ive just been driving on highway and havent raced it at all.. but let me know if you have any suggestions which would be VERY helpful.. just recently got into cars so please be helpful to a noob like i! thanks.

 

Did you check the dipstick?
