Oil Light after boosting and hitting brakes, WTF...
About the 4th time this has happened to me..
After boosting then hitting the brakes hard, my oil light will come on. Quick check of the Oil Pressure Guage reads normal every time, and the light will go out after a few seconds... My OSU is T'd off of my oil feed line, and is right next to my Oil Pressure Guage line coming off a 2nd T.
I have had my OSU unplugged before, and it didn't even throw a light then. Why would it be doing it now? Could it be that when I hit the brakes hard all the oil moves forward, and a patch of air hits the OSU, but the oil press continues to read right cuz it still has the pressure there...but the Oil Pressure Guage doesn't know it's oil; but just reads the pressure?
Ack...IDK, help...jB

are you positive its the oil pressure light, and not the Brake light? if you are low on brake fluid, the brake light will illuminate
Yeah, it's the oil light (Little canister). My brake light was on for like a week straight until I finally figured out what it was and filled it back up. The brake light is gone now, and is below the oil light (I think).

Yes... It's checked daily (Just cuz I'm friggin paranoid that I'm going to blow a line somewhere); and is a couple centimeters from the top all the time...
Im guessing that becuase your oil pan isnt baffled the oil is not staying near hte sump under hard breaking... because of the fact that a lot of extra oil is going to lines, teh turbo, or a gauge... you might want to invest in a moroso oil pan (baffled) or add some extra oil to compensate for the extra volume of your new turbo incorporated oil system
or since you have a ZC, you might have to fabricate your own baffle in the oil pan. Not real difficult, if you have some welding skill. Or you could just not hit the brakes so hard
