Default Oil pressure light on from 45mph and higher

Previous week my oil pressure light lit up just before I turned onto the higghway. I stopped immediately, wondering what it was since oil level couldn't be too low and I was right. Ever since I have been getting this light, but only at higher speeds. When I drive on the motorway and highway from about 45mph and up, after a few minutes my oil pressure light starts burning. When I turn of the ignition and immediately turn it on again the light is off again for a few minutes.

Now, I have already searched and found the following things:
- Maybe a broken switch. But I am not in the position to check that right now. It's snowing and raining here and I haven't got a garage
- Oil filter leak, but then I should have a shortage of oil
- Oil pick up is blocked

I want to buy an oil pressure meter right now but as stated, I don't have a space to install everything at the oil filter. The thing is, I also don't see how the things I mentioned will make the light turn on only at higher speed?

There are no strange rattles or anything like that. When the engine was warm, I revved up to 5k rpm in 2nd and the light stayed off. Anyone got an idea/suggestion of what it might or probably would be?

Nobody? It seems like when I drive at differing speeds, accelerating and braking, like city driving, the light doesn't go on. When I keep driving at the same speed, the light goes on after some while. If I turn off the ignition and turn it on directly, the light stays off till after 1 or 2 minutes, it lights up again. What the hell....

All suggestions are welcome.

as much as you dont want to do it, you need to check the pressure with a gauge...if the pressure is low then you know why the light is comin on.....if its not low than you know its somewhere in the wiring.....if you dont check the pressure and it is low, than you are going to wipe the bearings out

Yeah, I'm gonna order a gauge and adapter and see if I can fix a bridge somewhere. Cause you're absolutely right. Only I was hoping that the behavior of the light might indicate some specific problem.

The thing is, I can't imagine oil pressure is near zero since driving in a city doesn't make the light go on and turning off the ignition while driving and back on, shouldn't bring back the oil pressure...
