h22 swap injector issues
I have done a h22 swap and have since been running the car on f22 injectors and f22 ecu. It runs great. I purchased a set of 99 prelude injectors and cut the clips from a 99 accord to install them. I spliced them solid wire to solid and black stripe to black stripe. Now it runs terrible. Am I missing something. These should work shouldn't they? Do I have the clips backwards? Do the order of the clips matter? Please help.
Jdm h22a. 1997 accord ex. Using accord harness
So more what I'm asking is can I run obd2b injectors on a obd2a ecu and harness. And if so where did I go wrong splicing them in? Or is there something I'm missing.

The prelude injectors are larger than the accord (more fuel injected). To use the prelude injectors you will need either a matching prelude ECU, or a jumper with an obd1 ECU that is chipped for the H22 and the H22 injectors. Basically, you are running pig rich right now..
You usually can't just add larger injectors without using the proper ECU or having the car tuned.
Another point of issue is that the 290cc 97+ Prelude injectors are also known as Saturated injectors. They are high impedance and do not require the use of the stock F22 resistor box.

^ Correct.
You should have got obd1 h22 injectors. They are the correct size, low impedance (designed to work with the resistor box), and would have plugged right in.

True they would have plugged right in, However, the peak & hold (low impedance) OBD1 VTEC Prelude 340cc injectors, still would not run properly using the fuel and ignition maps from a stock F22 ECU.

I knew it wouldn't run right by running different ECUs with different injectors. OBD1 tuning is the way to go; wayyy more options. You're most likely stuck with OBD2.
