Hey ht im having an issue that i cant seem to figure out the problem is that i recently bought a new starter because my old one was bad and i put the starter in and everythings good to go sometimes when i start the car it seems like the starter isnt getting any power like the battery is dead but it only does this sometime amd other times it will start up perfectly fine my batery is new and so is my altenator but i had to convert my altenator to ob1 idk if it can be a wiring issue their need help asap thanks!

 

Check all your grounds. Make sure they are clean and are correctly grounded.

I agree. It's the battery and transmission ground connections that should be checked. Also make sure the two starter wires are clean and tight.

But u notice when its a cold start it starts up perfect..idk if it just a coincidence

I checked all the grounds and they seem good but the fusebox under the hood has a tiny lil click could i possible got the 2 smaller wires backwards..

 

all ground are good still doing it but people say that the starter housing serves as a ground and having only 1 bolt it may act up like this sometimes? anyone heard of this..

 

Install any missing starter bolts. The starter grounds locally on the transmission, which is grounded by the G3 transmission ground wire. Check that and the battery ground wire connection.
