Icon2 D16Y8 missing cylinder

I got a D16Y8 and I was wondering what are the highlights when it comes to your engine missing. Just sounds like a cylinder isn't getting spark.

usally still runs semi normal but shakes more then normal and has no power when accelerating. you can check it by pulling the spark plug wires one by one while the car is running.when u pull the plug wire the motor should die down some but if the car does not die down and idle stays the same then u have a dead cylinder. Then you need to diagnose from there. i recommend using gloves when doing this as getting shocked by a plug wire is not fun and stings a lil more then an electric fence. you could also put a screw driver in the plug wire and have someone hold it near a grounded bolt and have them watch for the spark to arch from the screwdriver to the bolt while you crank over the motor. repeat to all 4 plug wires. hope that helps
