Default Leaking oil

I have a turbo b16 and driving it for the first time with a built head. I noticed it's smoking from under the hood and out the exhaust, I saw that there was oil on the compressor wheel. The turbo is a turbonetics turbo, could it be blown oil seals on the turbo?

Probably blown front & rear seals. Running a restrictor on the oil feed line?

If its leaking out of the rear seal, oil is coming out of the turbine into the exhaust housing. That maybe where the smoke comes from

I'm just stumped on it leaking out the compressor housing inlet.

That return line at the fitting into the oil pan might be a problem.

Since the turbo is a turbonetics, they'll repair that, more than likely without charge.

Ill have to change the intercooler piping around so return line is more straight into the oil pan. Or just get different angle fitting.

I think TheShodan means the bung on the oil pan is angled a little down and since oil drops by gravity not pressure, i guess it piles up there up to the turbine and explodes into the seals

Ya I got u. I'm look at getting like a 45 degree fitting or a 90. See if that works.

Use 2x 45° or a straight from the turbo going to a 45° at the sump. Don't use 90°. Try and make it work with that.
