'nuff said. I don't trust that corky guy anyway, 'says 10 lbs on any sized turbo will cut times on GSR by 1/3.

Umm.. Riiight. Lot more to it than that.

Turbos' by themselves are pretty simple. IT's the theory behind them that gets SUPER CONFUSING. Compressor maps aren't easy to figure out either. Look on the net, you can learn many of the basics there.

http://www.howstuffworks.com is awesome, too.

Corky is usually 95% right. He has the basics down pretty good and he has probably one of the only books on turbos out there. Its a great book to have as a reference.

He made a very general statement that 10 lbs. of boost on a properly turbocharged car would cut 0-60 by a third. Nothing about any sized turbo or a GSR. Talk about completely mutaliting what was said. With 10 lbs of boost you're nearly doubling the flow of air into the engine, and getting your 0-60 to 2/3 of what it was prior to boost should not be that hard with proper tuning and turbo sizing.
