A pic or two would help a lot.

How dark in color is the leaking oil?

The next sealed seam over holds the trans fluid in, not the bell housing>block seam.

Probably a leaky cam plug, distributor seal or VTEC solenoid seal or even the valve cover gasket. All very common.

i had a ls vtec that did the same thing. it is coming from in between the head and block ( headgasket). car didnt overheat, or lose coolant but it dripped oil everywhere.. not a big deal unless its a pretty big leak. mine was so bad i chose to redo the head gasket and i found that the previous owner didnt use dowel pins, had the wrong head bolts(ls), and used the wrong head gasket. if you arent sure how legit your swap is, it wouldnt be a bad idea to throw a new mls head gasket on it. it probably saved my motor in the long run and it only costs 50 bucks as long as your head and block is straight. also gives you a good chance to inspect pistons, valves, sleeves, etc. and it shouldnt take more than 3-5 hours.

Yeah its definitely worth it. And relatively cheap and a great way to go through your motor!
