Default bone stock 95 civic ex. turbo advice

Bone stock 95 civic ex. Im looking to get a little more power, nothing crazy. Im on a short buget, so Im thinking junk yard turbo kit/ used parts for sure.
My main questions are:
1. Do I have to worry about having an auto trans? even with using low boost, dont expect Id go any farther than 7-8 psi, because I want it reliable for everyday use.
2. What kind of manifold/ turbo set up could I find at a junkyard that would allow me to keep my a/c and power steering? (thats very important). Ive been looking at like an hf mani with adapter to a 14b, but most people that have pics ditch the ps and ac.

Thoughts go.

Because it will cause the trans to slip.

Do you have any experience with building a turbo kit? What are you doing for an EMS?

I have no experience, other than what I read and research and ask questions about. I found someone with a greddy emanage for cheap. I just figured with 200 hp or less the auto trans would hold up. I'm going to race it, just wanted a little more power for dailey driving.

be ready to install a new trans. they dont even hold up when you beat on them stock.
if you do. use a large trans cooler.

If you want a little more power for daily driving, convert to a manual. You'll shave a second or so off your quarter mile right there. Plus the experience you get from doing the manual conversion will help you in the future when you feel confident enough to go turbo.

Emanage is not a real EMS. There are tons of better options for OBD1.

I just read what I wrote, and i will NOT be racing it. I have plenty of experience with swaps and 5spd conversion. I'm fully capable of working on my own cars, I've just never messed with turbos before. To do a 5spd swap is not what I'm wanting for this car, I don't want to deal with shifting in stop and go traffic, and my girl drives the car too. It would just be nice to have a little more power. I considered a b16 auto swap, but it would proly be more expensive then piecing together a low buck turbo kit.

I don't have much post count compared to everyone here. But I think your automatic transmission is going to be your bottleneck even with a turbo. Might cause you even more headaches in the future

Have you considered a supercharger?

Your tuning options are going to be very limited with an automatic. Also, you may want to consider a transmission cooler so it lasts a bit longer...i'd bet money on the tranny being the first thing to crap out.

id say do a complete ls swap, u can get a ls dirt cheap and the auto trannys people give away, i actually just scraped 2 of them lol, i personally think it'd be cheaper and way more reliable then a pieced together turbo kit

THIS.

You will also have to change your trans fluid 4x as often. Power makes the auto's clutch packs slip, slipping creates heat, heat degrades ATF, and bad ATF destroys auto trannies.

If you can't swap to a 5psd, buy a Camaro or GTO if you want a fast upgradable auto. Honda is NOT known for stellar automatic transmissions.

hmm, who tuned your engine? little information leads me to guess you dont have much knowledge about turboing a honda. pull timing isnt something we can tell you because each motor is different then the last. this is something your tuner should adjust

I didn't think there were any tuning options for an auto.
