will everybody im new in these thread but i just wanna c everybody opinion?? i have a vitara build d16y8 with the hx40 6blade with the bullseye bep t3 housing. this turbo came off my dsm since i went bigger on my dsm and i just wanna c if anybody will know the spool time on this turbo and on the d16??

 

will guess no one knows but ill keep everybody update on this setup.. getting it dyno and goiing too boost 18 + psi...

 

depends on the cam and compression....

but this is an HE351CW on my D16A6. this right here was good for 11.3's

 

will the compression on the vitara is low know matter what. but the cams r stock so im not pretty sure when will the turbo will spool but bisi cams will be a later thing..
thats a nice dyno but what r u running for fuel and boost?? im planning to run e85 all the way..

 

thats 21psi on 94 octane pump. i wish we had e85 here.

 

damn thats nice... yeah we got e85 every where so i hope to make some power with e85.. will my setup is is vitara build with holset hx40 turbo,255 fuel pump, inline fuel pump,880cc injector,act stage 3 clutch, and other stuff.. lol.. its my budget.. i only built with low cost of money since i had parts laying everywhere.. ill keep u posted on my dyno.. getting dyno on the 6 of july

 

If im not mistaken, an HX40 is basically the same as the HE351cw.... at least they share the same compressor.... turbine might be a tad bigger on the HX40?

Hx40 6 blade is way bigger then the he351 but u r probably talking about is 1 of the hx40 8 blade that is rated like the he351..

 

Okay I was suppose to get a dyno but it has been reschdule so pretty soon here I will have it up since I have to drain all my regular fuel and put in e85 sso I can drive it to the shop becuz the base map is e85.

 

Would the hy35 spool a bit quicker? Or any advantage with using it. I'm doing a z6 vitara build.

Did you ever dyno? I'm curious because i'm thinking about doing something similar. I'm running an HY35 right now...
