Default Aftermarket ITR spring ?

I was thinking of bringing my ITR down a tad more. Nothing huge I think 1 .5 in the front and 1" in the rear. Just down to the tire. My question is do I just get 2.5 Front and 2" Rear GSR springs, or if I order will I actually get springs for a Type r? Just don't want to order the drop I am looking to get to only be back to where I am now.

Aftermarket "Integra" springs are more than likely going to be worse than the OEM ITR springs. If all you want to do is lower your car, then that's what you'll get. But, your handling and balance will more than likely suffer.

As has been said in this form, MANY times--you have to be smart with suspension upgrades to the ITR as there is a good change you'll have a worse handling car afterward.

I have Neuspeed Sport (green ones, not the yellow race), they are probably about the drop you're looking for. Don't track the car or anything but seem to handle fine.

On my old DC2 I had ITR suspension and swapped the springs out for an Eibach Sport kit setup...gave me the drop I was looking for, I felt an improvement in handling as well.

Eibach P/N: # 4.2040

*Sorry, wasn't able to find a "side" shot*

What drop did you get? And do you have any pics?

Wish I had measured the height before I put the springs in, but front jack points are now 5 1/2" from the ground if that helps. (wouldn't mind knowing what a stock one is?). So not very low at all really. Mine is 4 door so maybe a tiny bit lower at the back than 2 door. Heres a pic anyways

In other words, you measured handling with your "butt dyno". And on a non-R chassis, as well.

Nevermind that some of us have actually used the stopwatch to determine different ITR suspension setups, but don't let facts get into the way or anything

the tein h-tech is a near perfect fit with oem itr shocks. it's something like 15% stiffer and slightly lower. tein bases all of their springs off of some model of the car they go on. with the integra they are all based off R springs

H&R sport/end thread. Oh and just like todd states, you may be sacrificing some performance for looks. ITR's are very well balanced out of the gate
