1992 eg hatch b16 and b18...turbo/suspension questions
Hey,names Matt. Ijust bought a 92 eg hatch, milano red, with a b16a and I have a b18c block Im looking to build as well. right now the car has a gsr trans(lsd, carbon synchro, n more)equal length headers, 3" exhaust to a turbo muffler, gsr cams, ostrich ecu(2step etc), a zex nitrous kit(75 shot) which I have disconnected because I don't like spray but it was bought like that. Suspension on the car is solid, skunk2 coilovers(non adjustable, and not sure what model), control arms, front and rear strut tower bar and rear b(?) pillar bar. it's a solid car 250k on the body with some rust here and there but I love it.
I'm looking to add a turbo and I want to do it right and im not looking for anything crazy like a low 9 second killer. I want to build the b16 head i have and put that on the b18c block i have. The car is still going to be my daily driver, so I'm thinking of running somewhere around 8-10lbs because I still wanna have fun at the track on weekends. On top of what i paid for the car I have 6000 left to spend. I want to be somewhere around 400 450 somewhere down the road. If I can't do a complete turbo kit, what motor work or preparation should I take care of to get the motor ready for a turbo. And when the time comes where would be a good place to look for a turbo, intercooler, boost controller, etc? Any help is appreciated. I hope i find some help here instead of the usual "lotsa $$$$$" and "a wholeee lotta work" Ive been getting elsewhere. I'm prepared to do the work and I'm dedicated to build my dream civic...I finally have the one I want and I need some pointers in the right direction. Help me out! Thanks!

I'm only advising this way because we get this question at least once a week or more. Do plenty research when it comes to boost. Do not let anyone spoonfeed you or expect to be spoonfed on the topic.
