Default oil press low on 3k?

i have a gsr recently rebuild ,but recently ive noticed that the oil press when cold is great but when reaching operating temperatures i have like 15 psi on idle and 42 psi on 3k,i read that it should be 50 psi on 3k if i keep revving it up it will go up to 80 psi but my concern is if i can harm the motor at that particular range where i dont have enough press, also no problem hitting vtec no oil press loss, the pump is new thanks for the reply!!

What oil are you running?

What about 10psi/1k as an approximate number? High pressure can be thick oil, like when cold, and low flow.

most oils have a higher viscosity when cold. which results in higher pressure readings.
if you're using 5w30, you can try 10w30. that would bump the pressure a bit.
but those readings are nothing to get worked up about

at idle, oil pressure should be around 15-20psi.
with an oil like say 5w30, 5 is its viscosity rating at a specified higher temperature, while the w30, w standing for winter, is the specified lower temp viscosity rating.
if you switch to say 10w30, you will have a higher viscosity rating at higher temperature.

I am running 10w40 but i live in a very hot place but im worried about the press at 3 k that the manual says it has to be no less than 50 psi,i always tought that the first number the 10 was for the cold and the W40 was for hot i guess we learn something everytime

Not exactly. The “w” goes with the left number and indicates cold flow characteristics, so cold 5w30 flows similar to SAE 5 and 10w30 similar to SAE 10. Both are like SAE 30 hot, as of course is just SAE 30. Easy to read link here. The first part is generic explanation though eventually you get the Amsiol synthetic drift.

Great article on oil viscosity, flow, temperature. The first chapter or two cover most of your questions.
