Need help MPFI car starts but low idle

Default Need help MPFI car starts but low idle

and as soon as i hit the gas itll die. i bought a premade harness off of a guy on ebay. i followed his instructions and this is whats going on. i never had to change the wires at the tps so i jus assumed he did. i didnt infact have to wire a different plug into it for my resistor box for some reason so idk if i shud try switching the tps wires or if any of u guys think its something else lemme no i wanna get my car on the road after 3 weeks

the car dont start everytime either it takes a few tries

Honestly dude, you need to trace all the wires of the harness to the pins on the ecu. But before you do that, check all grounds; remove each ground, and restrip the paint on each ground surface (including the interior underdash grounds). If that doesn't work, go through each wire to eliminate all potential problems. It may be a long road but you'll get it figured out. I did, and I wanted to burn my garage down for months lol. Now after countless hours of painstaking work, I'm a happy camper. Best of luck to you, keep us updated

well honestly idk how to check for codes and **** this is my first honda and first major thing ive done. but i got it to start and itll stay running but itll back fire and die everyonce ina while.

I've forgotten exactly how to check obd0 codes, but it's pretty easy, do a search. Figure out what codes are being thrown, that's the most important part. Go from there

to check codes peal up the carpet of the passenger side under the dash, there is a small circular window with a red light in it count the blinks and find out what that number code is

easy as pie

would u have the check engbine light on or does it still through codes if it isnt on?
