2002 Civic EX Engine Swap question
My wife bought a 2002 Civic EX brand new back in 2001 and now the wife is in the market for a new car. I'm interested in putting this car aside as a project car and i've seen that a lot of people are swapping the engines out with the Integra K20A.
My question is, how difficult is this to do?
By that, I don't mean how long would this take... I'm not concerned with that. What i mean is, does it just mount right up and no additional modification is needed or am I going to end up needing a lot of additional parts and custom parts etc?
I don't want to end up with something like welding on different motor mounts and such.
Now if given that the answer to the previous question is "yes it mounts right up" i'm also wanting to get some suggestions as to some simple mods that could be done to the engine while i have it out before it goes in to the civic. Suggestions on performance injectors, etc..
I'd like to turn this in to a nice little project car and eventually go turbo etc... I know it will all take time and money but this won't be a rush project, i've got time. Money on the other hand... haha. That will likely be the cause of the project taking some time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Please take a gander at the FAQ's and Guidelines - READ BEFORE POSTING!. There are articles in there on the K-series engine swap, as well as information about the chassis in general. The K-series will need engine mounts, and preferably a stand-alone engine management unit.
