Default How to turn proximity sensors off

I have the clifford 50.7x and need to turn the proxy sensor off at night due to cats running underneath my car and setting it off just about everyday at 3am. I need sleep and don't want to continue to **** off my neighbors. Is there anyway I can turn them off without actually unplugging it?

Is there a shock sensor as well? and is it separate? If you disabled the proximity then you'll only have your door triggers.

Well my civic has one that I pu ton years ago from dei and it still works great. I had to adjust it because technically there were designed for convertibles and its for when you have the top down if anyone breaks that area that would be where the top is when its up. How many feet from your away is the warn away zone? You can adjust it so that it would take someone getting right up near the car. Or you could run a toggle switch and break into the wire that powers the sensor.

I have a similar alarm and it has options to disable certain zones after arming.

You can also adjust the sensitivity of the proximity sensor, I would not disable it.

I also would be aware that there are thieves who will set your alarm off repeatedly, just trying to get you to disable it.

Yes, you can. You can read page 26 of your owners manual. You have 3 different arming modes. full silent mode were the car will not sound or flash light. But will page you if the any section of the car is violated, Sensor bypass and warning bypass.

Here is the instructions for your alarm viper 5901
