Default Viper 5900 setting the sensitivity

I got a viper 5900 in my car, and i had it in there for about a year, and i want it more sensitive, i know what the thing looks like but i dont know which way to turn the thing right or left if the screw looking thing is facing me? Thanks

Left = less sensitive
Right = more sensitive

Or...
Clockwise = more sensitive
Counter clock wise = less sensitive. 94

........or you could do it all one way and bang the car and see when the sensor light goes on then turn it the other way and bang the shyt out of it again and then compare......where would be the best spot to mount the sensor so its picks up the most impacts???

your shock sensor came with an adjustment on your 5900? i looked at mine and it didn't have one

Check the brain, there's a little black **** sticking out of most DEI alarms that'll adjust it (the brain is the shock sensor).

For the 5900s, the shock sensor is not built into the brain. It should have came with a separate sensor (504d) that plugs into the brain. It looks like this:

On the far side, where it is yellow, there is a dial you can adjust with a small screwdriver.

just adjusted mine but doesn't seem to be that sensitive. where are you guys getting the best results on mounting it?

Oh, that's weird as ...
My 5901 has it, yet again, built into the brain. Odd they flipped around like that, I should research more.

That sensor needs to be zip-tied to a wiring harness as the instructions state.

One that comes through the firewall will work, or even the one that goes into the door jamb...
