Prevent 530T from closing windows on arm
I used to be able to (with a previous Clifford alarm/SmartWindows) hit the channel for opening the windows, them immediately arm the system, preventing the windows from rolling up.
So far, I have not been able to make this work. I'm guessing the limitation would be the 530T. What can prevent the 530T from rolling up the windows when it sees ground on orange (ground when armed)?
Is this functionallity possible with a Matrix RSX and the 530T?
If not, I don't want to spend any time on it trying to rewire things or make it work with a hack.
Another issue I have seen is the windows roll up slow with the engine off, compared to before I installed the 530T. I had to set the 530T to the max or it would not even move them. Any ideas on that one?

The reason why the windows go up slow with the engine off is because of voltage. Also depend on the condition of the battery too and also make of car. Also you are rolling up 2 windows at the same time. And that eats up current. Also it to depends on were the 530t is getting power from. If its from inside the door. Then thats a big problem. The gauge wire is to small to provide power to it. Ethier run a 10 gauge power wire into the door or mount the 530t inside the car and get power from the ignition harness.
Thats the way I also keep my windows from going up on arm when I used to have the 530t.

I'm pulling from the same gauge into the ignition. I am grounded to the door. I'll try another spot for each and see if there is any change. Brand new battery. It's no big deal, just something I noticed.
And yes, that is how you keep them from rolling up. I was just being impatient and the remote doesn't always agree with what I ask it to do. It does work.
Thanks for the reply!
