those are not street slicks...not at all

if anything they are auto-x tires...but they are NOT made for drag racing

slick=not radial, or bias ply for that matter: TOTALLY slick. not for street use.
Azenis= a pretty darn good radal tire. good multipurpose tire.

its a sticky street tire...

its not as sticky as a drag radial though

they have a very soft, sticky compound that makes them grip and wear out really fast...but they have a stiff sidewall which is bad for drag (thier only disadvantage)

its ok that they wear out fast, i'm going to buy some nice rims in a couple of months anyway.... btw... by you owning an h23 do you know what i'm talking about when i say i want more grip? i mean with my standard tires i would peel out if i launched at 3k rpm even if i wasnt racing... these tires will prevent that.. right?

What tires did u have before? If u wanted a tire for good straight line traction, the BFG's G-force drag radials are the way to go.

i just threw on some 205/55-15 kumho 712's on the front...consistant 2.30-2.32 60 ft's at the track...works for me, next step for me would be a LSD and some drag radials (bfg g-force) and hopefully some 2.0 60's....but i need a better engine first

I got a H22 and I peel out if I launch at 3K. First, learn how to launch from the line! And then worry about sticky tires.

hehe... hoping i could avoid gettin to that...lol... but seriously... wont someone's reaction time be significantly less if they have slicks cause they can launch at a higher rpm? especially on a lude??

60 ft time will be lower...if you can launch

reaction time wont be effected by slicks
