Icon6 wheel pushed back into the fender.

hey H-T..
i was wondering what you guys think about this. i have searched here and on g2ic and i guess it could be a bent lca but what im even more scared of is a bent subframe.
ive read about the front crossmember and radious rods having something to do with it.

what kind of things could i be facing. and what kind of solutions can you guys think of?.

i have yet to get under there and see whats wrong but i will do that soon.

can't tell, car is too low for the suspension to be useful. possible the front subframe has shifted back.

what are the caster readings on the rack?

I'm leaning towards bent subframe, fixable, but what a huge pain in the ***. I replaced one on a crx and that was enough for me. Good luck.

Alright so i got a look down there just now and the lca and subframe look good to my relif.. But the front crossmember looks like ****. Its definetly bent. I want to try and adjust it using the radious rods. Is it doable?

I don't think you'll be able to get it right with just the radius rods.

If I were in your place, I would either pick up a new cross member with radius rods, or look into a full traction bar setup. Obviously a new cross member will be much cheaper, but if you plan to do any kind of serious racing or you dont want to have to notch the cross member to be able to run a good header, a traction bar setup would be the way to go.

You kind of have to look at it as new used oem piece for about $80 or Full traction bar setup for $300+

If you are just dailying the car with a bit of drag racing here and there, I would just go with an oem piece. For me, it would be hard to justify spending the money on a traction bar setup if your not taking advantage of it.

Oh and as far as fixing it goes (even though you've determined you dont need to), the whole thing unbolts, you just have to take a lot of **** appart to get it off. Basically all the suspension components on the front end, as well as disconnecting the steering rack from the steering wheel down by the pedal assemblies, and the rear motor mount.
