Still no spark...looking to buy wire harness
it all started when i blew my first engine. the oil pump locked up and well you know whats happens if your driving with no oil.
so engine blew. got an OBD1 H23a1.
took all sensors and whatnot from the old engine, including the oil pump sensors.
re-soldered the main relay. brand new spark plugs. ground wires all connected. new thermostat.
distributor is a tricky one cause the original was an eight wire plug. the one with the green wire. (i think, but i could have been the 7 wire one)
thought it may be the external coil so i got a new one.
still no spark.
so after working on it for eight months, getting it to idle very ****ty-like in the OBD2>OBD1 distributor hack and realizing i just want it back to the original of OBD2, i took it to a dude in my area.
he tells me it's more than likely a bad wire somewhere.
which reminded me of when i was doing the distributor hack. i may have effed up a wire or two from connecting the wrong wires and seeing sparks fly. lol
so the issue is finding the right harness for my year. 96's suck cause its the cut off for obd1 and obd2 ugh.

the obd1 didn't have the crank positioning sensors in the oil pump, so im guessing it wouldn't work.
if you could please give me some more detail on how to go about doing this, it would be greatly appreciated.
