OBD2A and 2B 8 wire dist. 9 wire dist. NEED HELP!

Default OBD2A and 2B 8 wire dist. 9 wire dist. NEED HELP!

Hey Im puting and OBD 2 B18C motor into my 00 hatch I have an 00 Si harness and it has an 8 wire plug for the distributor, the motor however has a 9 wire plug for the dist. and i have been informed this is due to the OBD 2A and 2B diffrences, but i for some reason CANNOT find a place that has a distributor for a B series with an 8 wire plug, can somone please point me in the direction of a place that I can order an 8 wire dist. for a B series engine or just the part number TDU86??73? Anything please~!

I assume what you're saying is that your engine harness has 8 wires and the new distributor has 9, correct? If so, the solid blue wire on the distributor side is the tach signal, not used in the 99-00 Civic engine harness. If you want to run that tach signal wire, run it from the distributor to the drivers shock tower, where you will find the other half. Anyway, just get a manual, change the plug on the engine harness side and be done with it.
