hi guys, im in the process of refreshing my race engine, but now it seems hard to fine ACL race bearing which i used to use them on my outlaw H2B setup, or do i have an alternatives ? ( but not OEM )

i want bearing that can handle high horse power applications, i was using the duraglide bearings for the main and race bearings for the rods

i need help please....

 

how are acl h22a1 bearings hard to find? im sure someone sells them on HT. to prove that its not hard... ebay.. type.. h22 acl. BOOM!!! there they are!

 

i searched in ebay but there are bearings only for H22a4 which is has diff main size.

anything else ???

I believe I might have a set of Clevite bearings though, email me or call in Monday!

 

Why not OEM? I can sell you the bearing out of last years engine. They look brand new

i actually know that ACL is on back order for them. tried to by some about a week or 2 ago. You could use clevtis but they are not as great.

 

its the same bearing as duraglide, just without the coatings.

Its a pretty common misconception that the race bearing is the one with the coating. The race bearings are ugly brown because they lack any fancy flash coatings.

 

I will see if my local machine shop has any on monday. He stocks alot of bearings.

Best ET was 9.61@226km with stock GSR tranny.

 

Try speedfactorracing.com or call 204-261-3003 they have a supplier that had h22a1 and a4 bearings in stock.

 

Clevite makes the bearings in every NASCAR motor out there. I think they can make one for our little Honda motors.

And a big plus is Clevite hasn't filled chapter 11 and restructured, screwing a lot of people and Clevite can actually keep $hit in stock!!!

If you need coatings, send the bearings out to Swain or any place that does coatings

 

Have you had any issues with that block yet? Darton sleeves should come with a free rabbit's foot
who's turbo manifold? Custom or someones off-the-shelf one? Setup sounds good though.

 

no man i dont have any issues with my block , and about the manifold its a custom made because ive searched for something on the shelf and didnt find it , i hope that kaizen speed start to make new products for h2b setups. because i loved the way they work.

hey guys what are you think about king engine bearings ?

i found a set of main coated bearings for race use for h22a1 engine, did anybody use them befor? and could i find a good clearnce results when i use them ?

i asked about them beacuse i didnt hear anybody talk about this brand befor especially in HT so what are you think ?
