Won't start although Battery is less than 10,000 miles.
I have a 2000, 148+ thousand mile Integra 142hp Coupe.
The batter is from 7/09 and only around 9000 miles old. The car refuses to respond when a key is inserted to the ignition. No lights come on either. Also the car refuses to respond to the command from the remote control key functions.
Before getting this battery (80$), the car seemed to experience the same problem, which would require, I jump start it, to get it to turn on. Getting the battery seemed to resolve the solution until now.
My main concern is that it seems that the battery may not be the only culprit. I was wondering if there's more solution to this problem, that just replacing the battery?

Check your main grounds, batt. post clamp, batt. to chassis and chassis to engine.
Do not just eyeball the connections, remove them, clean both contact surfaces and reconnect making sure the connection is "snug" do not overtighten. 94

I sell batteries every day at work,we run into every problem you can think of haha what (fcm) stated is accurate but also dont be totally close minded that it is possible that your battery is BAD... Could have a Dead cell or low charge and so on which would let the lights and such work but will not turn the car over. Good luck
I took the battery to PepBoys, and they ran a free battery test. They confirmed that the batter was indeed dead. I got new one from them, that came with >3 year warranty, hopefully everything will be in working order since then.
