Alright I can't seem to figure this out. I have a tial 35mm wastegate and a blitz sbc-id boost controller and when i hook it up the way the manual says to (postive pressure from turbo to side of wastegate, and out side of boost controller to top of wastegate) the wastegate is open at idle and opens randomly while driving. EX when the car is at 15-20psi vacuum. Not to mention my wastegate is really freakin loud. If i reverse the way the vacuum lines are hooked up, the wastegate doesn't open, and if i leave just the positive turbo side hooked up and disconnect the line from the tope of the wastegate it opens at 4.5psi. I can't seem to figure out what the deal is. The boost controller works it just seems kinda funny and really loud.

Try:

Nipple of compressor to "in"

"Out" to side of wastegate (leaving the top open)

This is how I have mine WORKING with my profec.

 

vacuum port of wastegate (side) teed to boost/vacuum source and inlet of boost control selonoid

boost port of wastegate (top) to exit of boost control selonoid

also, some of the boost controller selonoids come setup for internal wastegates, so make sure the nipples on your selonoid are setup for external.
