hey whats up so i just got my eg hatch like 5 months ago getting tierd of seeing
her flat black. im starting from the outside then to the motor its gona take time but step by step it will come together.so hear are the spec its flat black the previous owners tried to bondo the sidemoldings and yes it looks pretty ugly zip ties and what not,car came with steelies so i added a couple of stuff.all around the body is clean no huge dents just needs some love. let me noe what u think and comments are welcome

 

anyone? how to sand what grit? how to sand off the bondo off the side moldings

 

You might need more than sand paper man. If you use paper is use some really course. I'd use a bidding wheel with one of those tough paint stripping wheels

Im just letting ppl see my work and what there opinions are.i dont mind just putting it out there if anyone feels like helping/giveing me some addvise then do it.

 

well from the pics i see it looks like a clean start, the drivers side fender gap gets to big at the top though.

what are your future plans on it ?

 

80 grit on a orbital sander will take that off...im going to assume that it is rattle can so there is prolly a diff color under that flat black. so i would sand that down to the orignal color then go from there.

 

well i plan on just painting it this summer aztec teal (stock color) or maybe army dark green and maybe build a b20v since i hav come across a
decent cheap b20 long block but as of know keeping the built z6 no hurrys.
80 grit thanks will start sanding that tomarrow.

 

updates ppl alot has gone on since ive last been on this on first i got jacked ****en thiefs and well as a come back saved a little bit of money got my self a gsr and later picked up a b16 tranny and its trully running how i tought it would it smooth and health motor was running it with a single cam throttle cable haha i know stupid only half throttle and pick up one from one of the guys on hear its running way better ill post up pics soon
