89 si stock engine. I never had any problems til this. Car sat for two weeks. only thing i touched was i took out the A/C under the dash. Went to start and it cranked but didn't fire at all. i figured my battery was dead. Got a new battery it would crank really good but not a single sputter until i turned the key back to the off position and then i would hear a single combustion. Sprayed started fluid and did the same. Put a plug in the wire and grounded and it did not spark while it was cranking but once i turned the key back it sparked one time. i took the distributor cap of just to look around for the obvious but didn't see anything and i know nothing about the internals of a distributor.
