VAFC or SAFC??Which one is better for my Engine??
My car is Honda Civic SI year 88-91, engine ZC DOCH D16 A9, ECU PM7.
I just want to know that which one is better for my engine.VAFC or SAFC??
I'm not sure which one is more suitable/better for my engine.
I need suggestion about this.

VAFC is for VTEC engines and SAFC is for every other engine out there. If you have a bone stock motor you will not see gains by using a controller.

Now i'm using VTEC B16 A intek manifold, do i need to change back to the original intek manifold so that i can install the SAFC?
And can it works very well?

Get which ever one is cheaper.
If you get a VAFC, you wont use the Vtec point adjustment feature.
VAFC=SAFC+Vtec point adjustment.
In your case you dont have a Vtec point to adjust, so either one will work.
Ideally a SAFC 2, is the nicest one for your setup ( but either safc 1 , 2 , neo, , vafc will work ).
Intake manifolds wont matter, either unit will go connected via ecu harness. So hardware doesn't matter .

side note alot of people prefer chipped ecus and a full tune. But if you have minor mods. I find the SAFC a great tool.
