Default Fair trade? Tell me what you think...

I have a 99 EM1, mostly stock, original b16a2 and transmission with about 119k miles on the odometer. The car has a clean title but had some slight front end damage. I replaced both fenders, hood, bumper, and core support. Everything works perfectly. Im looking to trade for a hatch... Found one completely stock with 200k miles in pretty good condition... Fair trade or would I be taking the hit?

Then it doesn't matter the mileage as much. It comes down to which car is in better condition.

I traded my 99 hatch for a 99 EM1. Depending on the condition of your car it doesn't sound too great. I would try to get them to add cash on top or if you have some parts you can take off do that I.E. Wheels

Seems like youre taking a hit. 200k is a lot of wear on a body. be sure to check suspension, bushings, interior/exterior carefully. I would pass. I'm a big em1 fan. Hatches are nice but if its a dd ride I'd stick with the power windows, locks, mirrors. Plus having 4 wheel disc brakes stock is nice.. plus depends on how much you qre gonna dump into it. Good thing to keeping your em1, you know what you got, what needs to be done, what has just been done maintenance-wise and such. Unless this is gonna be a pure track car or money is not an issue I would keep the em1

I just traded my 00 si with 160k and a built head for a mint 94 frost white si with230k on it. Just because it had rear end damage. But i would have traded either way. I love Eh's

Ive been trying to find a ek shell for 3 months, but realised it's a honda and hondas NEVER DIE, so im resorted to buying a running hatch. I dont mind trading the em1 and getting burned a little bit to get a hatch, but i also don't want to put cash on top of my em1 to get a low mileage hatch because the engine will be pulled regardless, so it's a waste of money. I have a couple prospects in the works for a hatch, but nobody is willing to pony up some money on top of the trade... Anyways keep your eyes peeled on the appearance and build forum... As soon as I get my hands on one, its going to be epic.
