2004 civic EX has a loud wining noise when I start the car and when i engage/disengage the clutch??? I drove the car out of the intersection and had a hard time shifting in and out of any gear. lots of smoke and a burning smell (almost smells like an electric fire) pretty sure i either burnt the tranny or could it be a clutch issue? Also, the clutch pedal feels like it doesnt fully engage and i can only put the car in gear when the car is off???

More problems...replaced the clutch pressure plate and flywheel but now the clutch is slipping bad. I noticed the clutch pedal felt extremly light/soft but got a little stiffer on its own. what am I missing? fluid is full. I read somewhere there are issues with the pedal adjustment and bleeding the slave but i'm not sure
