Default overheating motor, please help!

So i recently had a T3/T4 turbo kit installed into my auto. trans 00 honda civic EX. It was running fine until recently, it started to overheat alot!
We put in a walbro fuel pump also but that just seemed to make it worse.
Now i can barely drive the car down the block without it overheating.
The car will start to smoke AS SOON as you start it, i think its burning oil because it constantly needs more oil added to it and you can see oil dripping out from the exhaust. Also the exhaust smokes like crazy!!! the car runs great besides the fact that it is overheating ALOT and it doesnt take too kindly to idle.

Im not sure what the problem is, ive had a mechanic inspect it and he said it could be something such as a broken valve or cracked piston or something, the only way to find out would be to take the head off and go through the motor.

Ive even talked to some people about replacing the D16Y8 motor but they said it would probably blow up too, they recomended me to get the motor checked and it maybe replace the pistons and get a performance head gasket.

Please help! im not sure what to do about this, i will add more info upon request, thanks!

i think that engine is done! i say take the head off and see how bad it is. if you dont mind me asking how is a fuel pump gonna fix an overheating engine? how long does it take, idling to begin to overheat?

How do you install a turbo at first WITHOUT upgrading the fuel system? YOu probably blew the headgasket. Please provide ALL details pertaining to the setup you have.

Well no i didnt add the fuel pump to fix the engine, this was when the problem was only mild. we were also gonna add some 450cc fuel injectors but we never got around to it. and about the fan, it wasnt working properly so we wired it so i can turn it on manual anytime i want. and the car starts overheating and smoking AS SOON as you turn it on, its burning ALOT of oil and spewing some out through the exhaust.
The idle is really bad, it will die sometimes just from sitting at a stoplight so i have to keep the RPM at least over 1.
Were gonna take the head off next week and see what the problem is but after that im not sure if i want to keep this car, it will probably take alot more money to keep it running with the turbo kit and im about to buy a CR-X SI with a GSR swap for 3k with my savings.

So basically you slapped a turbo on a stock high mileage engine? There are so many things that need to be done in order to slap a turbo on there.. Upgrade fuel, internals, ignition adjustments, tune, etc... stupid move...

Dump the engine. Shouldnt have put money into a d series. If you had the money for a turbo kit you should have just saved for a b series swap. Check rings and piston... Sounds like youre looking like a decent amount of money to get it daily reliable. Don't turbo something unless you got the time/money/parts/knowledge to tune it properly

Sounds like it. And ran it without a tune on an engine that wasn't up to the task. Also sounds like the turbo seals are blown as well as the headgasket.

MAJOR failure for trying to cut corners to turbo a car. Now you're going to pay for it more than what you would have if you had saved up and just done it right in the first place.
