Ok so I have a b18a swapped ef hatch that's gutted and wieghs in at just under 1900 pounds, I'm looking to either build this motor or my brother has a c1 block and c5 internals and top end would I be better off build mine or his, or maybe a mix with lsv with thr type r head? What I have to work with is a ramhorn mani and sc63 turbo laying around, I cand have the block sleeve by my boys shop if need be. Looking foward to here you guys ideas on the motor as well as fuel and engine management. Side note I know what im doing and jusg trying to here what you would do so please dont treat me like a newby becahsd im new to the forum. Thanks all guys cant wait to here your ideas

My old ef never had interior, ac, or radio either. I drove like that 4 hours every weekend for 2 years so I know how it is.

Since it's drag only, what do you want to build? a 800whp or a 500whp setup or something else

To make the block reliable, I would recommend sleeving the block. Have your friends sleeved a block before?
I would go hondata for management.
C16 for fuel, I don't know if u can get e85 on Maui

 

Im saving for a dart gsr block bored to 84mm then a stroker eagle 2.2l bottom end input on the top and cr?

 

I would go with 11:1 cr assuming your always gonna be on race gas.

What turbo do you want to run?

 

My sc63 I was thinking 10 to 1 runing premeum 11 to 1 seems way high for turbo plus what bout the top end?

 

Top end power is based upon the turbo used, not its static compression. 10 to 1 is fine

 

I mean what components would you use in the top end and I figured since the motor is going to be built right that I would go to full race for there turbo setup and the have a setup using the garret gt37r I having done my research yet but I'm may need to go with the 11:1 pistons and going that way for a fully built motor capable of 700whp im only spending 8400 shipped witch as you know isn't bad to where we live. Oh and I traded my hatch for my boys cherry crx si. But idk where to get a fuel pump from and injectors our what size line I would have to run. I just can't wait to start ordering the parts
