What comp. Ratio?????

Default What comp. Ratio?????

I need some suggestions on what comp ratio should I run..I plan on making 750hP+ w a s366 w compR wheels and on c16,w a golden eagle sleeved 84mm ls block and a built head...I was planning on running the cp's 9.7-1 but I also seen people go w higher compression..need some inputs guys..thanks

I would run 11.0-12.5:1 if you are strictly going to be race gas. The compression will help a TON!

Jeff evans has mentioned to me in email that he builds his race engines at 11.0-12.0:1. For e85 he recommends 11.0:1.

I wouldnt push it too hard on 100oct.. Dont want to take a chance of detonating. Im not sure of the power level you want to cut off at using 100oct but its just not worth taking a chance.

Ignition will play a significant factor. What does your ign setup look like?
