hi i have a eg sedan and i have a problem with it. when it is in park or when it is stopped it idles wrong. the revolutions go from 500 to 1000 and move up and down when in park or like i said when it is stopped at a light can anyone tell me when is wrong with it. i think its my throttle body but i might be wrong. so if anyone can help me.

 

What makes you think it's your throttle body? Are their any sounds, smells, coming from it? Lots of things can make it idle funny.

Could be the iacv needs cleaning, cooling system has air in it and needs to be bled, tps not calibrated right (only if it was ever removed), or even a vaccum leak could be it.

 

Like your Idle air control valve(clean it), Fast idle thermo valve(clean it), Vacuum leak(check hoses), TPS Sensor(replace if neccesary), air in cooling system, bad alternator. Check all of those in that order, if one doesn't work move to the next.
