Very Weird Idle, Help?
My car has got a werid idleing problem. When I start the car up cold the revs start to fluxuate. Goes up and down a few hundreds. I can hear it and it's freaking me out, last thing I need is another thing to fix.
Some one help me, shed some light on this.

ok, it seems that it is probibly a vaccum leak, a bad tps will usually result in a check engine light as well, check your vaccum line first and formost.

I've had a funny idle for some time now. It sounds like i have a lumpy cam when i have a stock one. I figure it's either my timming or i adjusted my valves too tight.

I had this problem, it was fixed when the iacv was cleaned. It is located under the throttle body. Look at part # 13 on this link...

Check yor intake gasker by spraying brake cleaner all around it if your idle fluctuates, than your intake gasket needs to be replaced it also might be an injector seal or a faulty vaccum hose

ive had the same problem but there are 2 things to fix it. one you should mess around with the distributor by retarding and advancing timing. two your car is out of timing and needs to be put back on time. it happens all the time to the hondas that ive had because i'd advance timing too much on distibutor

Alls fine. It's normal as my car only does it for like 2-5 seconds after a cold start. My mechanic buddy says it's a normal thing.

where does everyones car idle at after it warms up ? Im curious because after i start my car an drive for about 5..10 mins.. Mine idles at the very first lil hash mark above the 0.. i'd assume its lik 250 rpm or somthin ? I dunno.. Car sounds lik its not even on when it idle's.. but it runs fine.. and never bogs or dies.
