Default Possible engine swaps into 92 civic coupe

My civic has a D15 single cam non VTEC. What are some possible engine swaps I could do with out doing a lot of body or engine bay mods. I'm trying to stay away from cutting and welding.

Any B-series motor (94+ Integra or Del Sol VTEC) motor/trans combo willd drop right in as long as you have the matching US engine harness, axles, shift linkage, throttle cable and engine mounts.

If you don't plan on getting your stock ECU chipped for the new motor, you will have to add one wire for knock sensor from the passenger side shock tower down to the ECU in passengers foot well. Be sure to use a sheilded wire and ground it per the OEM Integra manual. b16a and b18c VTEC ECUs require knock sensor. B18a/b non-vtec ECUs don't. Your stock ECU can be reconfigured to operate any engine for a price. Places like Pherable.net do this.

If you want to use a JDM motor swap, you need to get yourself a USDM engine harness for that same engine (or modify one to fit). Also JDM motor doesn't have VTEC pressure switch, so US ECU has to be fooled by jumping a wire at the ECU. Your ECU chipper can do this inside the ECU as well.

If the new motor is OBD2 You will also have to adapt your stock EVAP system to work on the new motor by changing the plug for the EVAP solenoid.

You will also want the bigger dual core radiator from the 94+ Del Sol VTEC. It has bigger hose headers and greater heat capacity to match the b-series engines.

You can go GSR, its a pretty popular build actually. Im going B18C1 block and maybe b16 head. I have a b16 now so the gearing in my tranny is pretty good. It also depends on what your gonna run in this motor your swaping, you gonna run flat stock or build her up a little bit?

or you could go more modern with a k20 in it. Just went to a decent size honda meet over the weekend and couldnt beleive the amount of k-swaps they were doing. It was crazy.
